Switzerland condemns today’s attack in Peshawar

The President of the Federal Council, Didier Burkhalter, head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), emphatically denounced the bloody attack at a school in Peshawar (Pakistan). The attack at which numerous people were killed – among them many schoolchildren – is impossible to justify.

Federal Council President Burkhalter expressed his outrage over the attack and offered a letter of condolence to the Pakistani authorities. In it he offered his sympathy to the victims’ families in the name of the Swiss people and the Federal Council.
