The Theatre Company shelf, directed by Yasuhito Yano, will present a table reading of "Biografie: Ein Spiel" ("Biography: A Play") on 18-19 December, 2021. This drama by Swiss playwright and novelist Max Frisch (1911 –1991) has been newly translated in Japanese by Koki Matsuu. It is the Japanese premiere of this dark comedy as a table reading that prompts serious questions about how individuals are impacted by society. It may seems to reflect the people in today’s pandemic situation.
