What does Vitality mean to you? To us? What does vitality mean for our societies? And for our planet? How can Japan and Switzerland join forces to foster a vitalized future in the face of common challenges: climate change, ageing societies, global health and digital transformation? 

On the road to Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, be part of the conversation!

The Vitality.Swiss program explores solutions and scenarios for a vitalized future along three themes: Healthy Life, Sustainable Planet and Human-centered Innovation. Through a variety of events and content, the program provides a platform for dialogue and co-creation on the road to the Swiss pavilion at Expo 2025. An initiative of the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan together with the Consulate of Switzerland, Swissnex in Japan, Swiss Business Hub Japan, the Science & Technology Office Tokyo, Switzerland Tourism Japan, and Presence Switzerland, Vitality.Swiss is officially registered as a Team Expo co-creation partner.

To commemorate the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan, five new ambassadors joined us in February 2024!

In addition to the 11 Ambassadors (above) who have been with us since 2022, we are pleased to welcome five new Ambassadors on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan.

Alongside digital content, the Vitality.Swiss program also offers in-person and hybrid/online events to foster exchanges of knowledge, thought leadership and co-creation.

Designed and built by Office for Typography, the website provides a variety of the latest Swiss news and information. The website also features video content and podcasts, and is integrated with the Embassy’s social and digital channels.
