Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver
Switzerland is deeply shaken by the tragic fire that occurred on New Year’s Eve in Crans-Montana. In the wake of this tragedy, our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, with all those still awaiting news of their loved ones, and with the emergency responders and helpers in Switzerland who are working tirelessly.
Switzerland extends its sincere thanks to all countries for their expressions of condolence and solidarity. It is also grateful for the support and assistance provided by various governments, including the admission of injured persons to hospitals and help in establishing contact with victims’ families abroad.
A book of condolence is available on the website of the Swiss Confederation. (https://www.admin.ch/condoleances)
