Globally 3 out of 10 people – or 2,1 billion people – do not have access to safe drinking water. 6 out of 10 people, about 4,4 billion people, lack adequate sanitation facilities.

  • What kind of technical, organizational, social and institutional innovations are needed to secure access to safe drinking water and functional sanitation facilities on a global level?
  • How can Switzerland make a contribution in this respect?
  • What requirements must innovative solutions meet to achieve a sustainable positive impact?
