On the occasion of the Francophonie Festival, the Swiss movie "Le Procès du Chien" will be screened at the Cinema Neuf on Sunday 30th of March 2025. The film is being shown in conjunction with the French-language Film Festival that takes place on the 23rd and the 30th of March in Oslo.
As part of the Festival de la Francophonie, the Embassy of Switzerland is pleased to invite you to the conference given in French by Mr. Alain-Jacques Tornare entitled "Le passage à Fribourg en Suisse (1915-1917) d'un éternel voyageur: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, écrivain et pilote" on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the residence of the Embassy of Switzerland. Due to the limited number of places available, those interested in the conference are requested to register at the Swiss Embassy by 19 March (oslo@eda.admin.ch).
Klaus Johann Grobe is a duo of Zurich and Basel. Their third album "Du bist so symmetrisch" was released last October and the Swiss pop band has been playing concerts ever since, among others on 16 March in Oslo im Blå.
Inversia has started in Murmansk (RU) 3 years ago as the festival to shift the traditional
negative perception of darkness and to realise its difficult intersections with light in the design
of audiovisual experience. Now it has developed into an international platform to study the
phenomena of cultural isolation and apathy and their overcoming in new art forms, all
conditioned by the High North surroundings. This year, among Northern Europe based artists,
we invite Swiss explorers as well.
Since the 3 years of "Priority Jazz Promotion" (2012-2015), VEIN has continuously developed and in spring 2019 it is once again able to stage an attractive tour together.
The CD with the program "Symphonic Bop" with works by VEIN will be released worldwide on March 8 and performed with the Norrbotten Big Band in Sweden and Basel. In spring 2019, VEIN will concentrate on this program, which will be performed mainly as a trio.
The exhibition project "Lots of tiny people" evolves around Rudolf Steiner´s Blackboard Drawings. Along with the Steiners Blacboards, ten artist will participate in the exhibition and reflect on Steiners ideas where the value of spiritual practice where the guiding principle. They are from Canada, Netherlands, German, Iceland and Switzerland. The exhibition will take place at Gerðarsafn - Kópavogur Art Museum January - April 2019.

Trials of Money turns the theatre into a court of justice. The audience is invited to take part in the Special Tribunal for Semi-Human Persons that, instead of human subjects or legal entities, puts that very complex "thing" on trial that we most commonly call "money". Can money be held responsible for the disastrous state the world is in today?
Carlo Ciceri will write a new version of his piece Vana entitled "Vana e d'amore" in occasion of the Skalholt Summer Festival which will be held in Iceland at the beginning of July 2018.
