Institutional context
The Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia is looking for a gardener starting from 1 March 2025.
Tasks of the Gardener
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Building Maintenance Assistant and the Head of Consular Services:
- Perform daily sweeping and cleaning of gardens at the Embassy and the Residence premises, as well as the street adjacent perimeter;
- Conduct gardening as appropriate (incl. trimming, planting, fertilizing, etc.);
- Ensure procurement and proper stocking of necessary gardening resources/materials;
- Propose innovative ideas, improvements, modifications to garden areas;
- Provide help during Embassy organized events and assist to other specific tasks, as requested.
Requested Profile and Competencies
Work experience
The candidate has a professional education/training in the related field and minimum of 2 to 4 years of working experience in similar function, experience of working at an embassy structure is an asset.
Languages
The incumbent is fluent in Georgian, has fair knowledge of English, oral and written. Knowledge of Russian can be beneficial.
