The Embassy of Switzerland together with the Embassies of Austria, Germany and the Goethe-Institut Cyprus are delighted to announce the 8th edition of the "Wochen der deutschen Sprache / Weeks of the German Language!"
The festival is organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus and runs through from 5 to 26 November 2024 with an array of events.
This year, together with our Austrian & German colleagues we are presenting an opening concert, “The Soul of Germanophone Music” on 5 November, 20h at Kasteliotissa Hall, Nicosia and a film screening, “Die Theorie von Allem” (The Universal Theory) on 6 November, 20h at the Rialto Theatre, Limassol.
The Embassy of Switzerland has the pleasure to screen Markus Fischer's 2023 black comedy, "Der Bestatter - Der Film" (The Undertaker) in Nicosia and in Pafos.
