Swiss citizens who get into difficulties abroad, also can ask for advice and help from the Swiss representative.

The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

The ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mr Jo Chol Su; Federal Republic of Somalia, Ms Khadra Ahmed Dualeh (with residence in Geneva); Republic of Türkiye, Ms Șebnem İncesu; Republic of Cuba, Ms Laura Ivet Pujol Torres; and the State of Kuwait, Mr Ziad Faisal Abdullah Al-Mashan were received by President of the Swiss Confederation Karin Keller-Sutter at the Federal Palace on 14 January 2025 for the presentation of their credentials.
