GESTOR Gestión Sostenible Recursos Naturales

Project completed

GESTOR is one of eight programs within SDC’s cooperation strategy in Bolivia. It meets conservation and efficient use of natural resources, especially water, and improved agricultural production with elements of institutional strengthening in a context of a supramunicipal territorial management1and people’s participation. The supra-municipal orientation of comprehensive watershed management and natural resources is the main strength of GESTOR. Thanks to its long experience and proven excellence in watershed management and local governance, the Swiss participation in the national programs may serve as a leverage.
